End-user privacy policy

 

This privacy policy explains how Martian Mobility Inc. (“Telematica”, “we”, “us”) handles your personal

information related to your connection to an Electric Vehicle ("EV").

This policy solely applies to information collected, used, and shared by Telematica. It doesn't say anything about what our business partners (apps/ services you will be using, referred to as "Partners") do with any End User Information we give them (or any other information they may collect about you separately from Telematica). We recommend you read the privacy policies or notices of our Partners or third-party services for information on their practices.

Information we collect

We collect identifiers and login information required by the provider of your EV accounts, such as your username and password or a security token, when you connect your EV accounts with a Partner application or otherwise connect your EV accounts through Telematica, where appropriate. When you provide this information, you authorize the Partner application and Telematica to access and communicate your End User Information from the applicable EV maker. We also store the make, model, and VIN of your vehicle. When you contact us or enter information on our websites, you may also provide us with identifiers and other information, such as your name, email address, and phone number. 
 

How we use your information

We manage your End User Information for a variety of business and commercial purposes, including the operation, improvement, and security of the services we provide, as well as the development of new services. Personal information is processed when we have a legitimate interest in doing so or when you have given us your consent. You can revoke access to your account by sending an email to contact@telematica.so

How we share your information

We share your End User Information with the Partner whose application you are using and as directed by the Partner (for example, with another third party if you tell us to do so). The information is made accessible when we provide the service to you at your request regarding the provision of the service. The data that is shared to Partners is only that which is necessary to provide the Telematica Service.

Additionally, we will also share the data with our data processors and other service providers, partners, or contractors in connection with the services they perform for us or our partners.

How long do we store your information

We keep the information we collect for as long as it is required for the relevant purpose. The data is then erased or anonymized. Your information will be removed or anonymized within three months after it has fulfilled its purpose.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. Telematica aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data.

You have the right to complain to a Data Protection Authority about our collection and use of your Personal Data. For more information, please contact your local data protection authority in the European Economic Area (EEA).

    • The right to access, update or to delete the information we have on you. Whenever made possible, you can access, update or request deletion of your Personal Data directly within your account settings section. If you are unable to perform these actions yourself, please contact us to assist you.

    • The right of rectification. You have the right to have your information rectified if that information is inaccurate or incomplete.

    • The right to object. You have the right to object to our processing of your Personal Data.

    • The right of restriction. You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal information.

    • The right to data portability. You have the right to be provided with a copy of the information we have on you in a structured, machine-readable and commonly used format.

    • The right to withdraw consent. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time where Telematica relied on your consent to process your personal information.
